We Sold Hole Card!

As you might recall I made the Short film/pilot called Hole Card, this was filmed in Central Wisconsin with a cast of local Wisconsin Actors and crew.

I entered the film in six film fests around the world at to date it has made into 3 to date 2 in Wisconsin ( Wildwood in the Fox River Valley and Door County Short Film Fest)  outside Wisconsin The Miami Independent Film Fest, I have yet to hear from two others and will not until Fall. Those being New Orleans Film Fest and Bahama Film Fest. Chose New Orleans due to the Web Series contest and Bahama because why not ?

Best news is that one of the Actors bought the project from me, we will see what he may do with the project. The world is a big place and anything might happen.

I wish him the very best of luck and I am willing to provide what help I might be with my skill set in what ideas he may have with Hole Card.

The money will be used to improve on Pizza with the Outfit and other projects

The First Production: Hole Card

We filmed in Oshkosh, WI the weekend of 8/5/17.

This short film, written and directed by Wisconsin native Darby Kern, has a great cast of stars from Wisconsin. Hole Card is designed not only to tell a great story but to highlight the talents and skill sets of Wisconsin creatives. It tells a story that will please even a hardcore mob fan base.

In doing so, we hope to show companies that Made Men Production should be their “go to” place for advertising needs — from product placement to sponsorship of shows in the crime genre (a space that is growing more each day).

The production was shot over two days. It was a long affair; however, in the end, it was well worth the time, effort, and cost.

The next step is editing the film into its final form and setting it up on Vimeo for the fans to watch.

We will also be selling Hole Card t-shirts for our hardcore fans. Keep an eye on this blog for further updates!

Web page has started!

Started working on the web page and it will be a work in progress as I learn how WordPress works with the new layout options.  But I wanted to start laying out the plans we have sooner rather than later, so bear with me. (It’s driving me a bit crazy, to be honest).

At least we have an editor to fix my grammar and spelling after I get these posts out. Our editor will be earning her pay, that’s for sure.

We have a lot going on, so stay tuned! Updates will include stills then a teaser of our pilot of the web series Hole Card. We’re doing shoots this weekend in the Fox Valley.

Looking forward to this weekend and the fun times on the film set!
